Arizona law requires that all signers understand the document they are signing and sign willingly without coercion.
A diagnosis of dementia or memory impairment does not automatically prevent notarization. However, the signer must be able to:
- Clearly explain what the document is and why they are signing it
- Communicate directly with the notary without prompting from others
- Show understanding and willingness at the time of signing
If the signer appears confused, disoriented, or unable to demonstrate understanding, I am required by law to refuse notarization to protect their legal rights and ensure compliance with Arizona law.

FD-258 Fingerprint Cards $40:
Our equipment electronically scans your fingers and then prints the fingerprint images onto a physical FD-258 card. That is digital/Live Scan capture, but it is not electronically uploaded for submission.
Please complete any applications for backgrounds check prior to appointment. Fingerprinting is a separate service and fee.
