We capture your fingerprints electronically using a professional fingerprint scanner. Depending on your application requirements, your fingerprints can either be printed onto an FD-258 fingerprint card or provided as an EFT file.

Please note that we do not electronically submit fingerprints or applications to Arizona DPS, the FBI, ATF, or other agencies. Our equipment electronically scans your fingers and then prints the fingerprint images onto a physical FD-258 card. That is digital/Live Scan captured on FBI Appendix F-certified equipment and software, but it is not electronically uploaded for submission. Customers are responsible for submitting their fingerprint cards or EFT files according to the requesting agency’s instructions.

Appointments for fingerprinting services are available at our Flagstaff office located at 513 N. Beaver St, Flagstaff, AZ 86001. Additionally, mobile fingerprinting is also offered at homes, workplaces, schools, healthcare facilities, and other locations for an extra travel fee.

Arizona DPS and IVP Fingerprinting

Our fingerprinting services include those necessary for obtaining Arizona Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Clearance Cards, which encompass both regular and Identity Verified Prints (IVP) clearance cards. These may be required for:

Important: Complete Your DPS Application First

It is essential to complete your Arizona DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card application prior to your fingerprinting appointment. After submitting your application through the Arizona DPS Public Services Portal, you will receive a reference number. Please bring that reference number to your appointment to ensure your fingerprints can be connected to the correct application.

Your AZDPS application fee is separate from our fingerprinting fee. We do not collect or include DPS application fees in the price of fingerprinting services.

We provide ATF EFT fingerprint files for eligible ATF and NFA electronic applications. Your ATF fingerprinting appointment includes:

- Electronic fingerprint capture

- ATF-compatible EFT fingerprint file

- Applicant photograph

- EFT file provided on a USB drive for uploading with your application

ATF EFT fingerprinting with photo: $80

The customer is responsible for completing and submitting the appropriate ATF application. ATF application, tax, licensing, and submission fees are separate from our fingerprinting fee.

What to Bring to Your Appointment

Please bring:

- A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID

- Your completed application or agency instructions

- Your DPS reference number, if applying for an Arizona DPS clearance card

- Any ORI, OCA, employer, or agency codes provided to you

- Any forms or fingerprint cards supplied by the requesting organization

- Your preferred payment method

Before Your Appointment

To ensure the best possible fingerprint quality:

- Hydrate and moisturize your hands the day before

- Avoid applying heavy or greasy lotion immediately before your appointment

- Keep your hands warm

- Inform us about any cuts, injuries, or worn fingerprint ridges

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you complete Arizona DPS or ATF applications?

No. Customers must complete their own applications prior to the appointment. We provide fingerprinting services but do not select application types, determine eligibility, or offer legal advice.

Do I need a DPS reference number?

Yes. Arizona DPS applicants must complete their application first and bring the reference number provided by DPS. This reference number links your fingerprints to your application.

Are application fees included?

No. Arizona DPS, ATF, employer, licensing agency, and other government application fees are not included in our fingerprinting prices.

Do you receive my background-check results?

No. We do not acquire, review, or make decisions regarding your background-check results. For application status and results, please contact the requesting agency, employer, Arizona DPS, or ATF.

Is mobile fingerprinting available?

Yes. Mobile fingerprinting is accessible for individuals, employers, schools, healthcare facilities, and groups. Additional travel fees apply based on location.
