Fingerprinting Flagstaff

Fingerprinting Services in Flagstaff, Arizona

We capture your fingerprints electronically using a professional fingerprint scanner. Depending on your application requirements, your fingerprints are either printed onto an FD-258 fingerprint card or provided as an EFT file.

We do not electronically submit fingerprints or applications to Arizona DPS, the FBI, ATF, or other agencies. Customers are responsible for submitting their fingerprint cards or EFT files according to the requesting agency’s instructions.

Appointments are available at our Flagstaff office located at 513 N. Beaver St, Flagstaff, AZ 86001. Mobile fingerprinting is also available at homes, workplaces, schools, healthcare facilities, and other locations for an additional travel fee.

Arizona DPS and IVP Fingerprinting

Fingerprinting is available for Arizona Department of Public Safety Fingerprint Clearance Card applications, including regular and Identity Verified Prints (IVP) clearance cards.

These cards may be required for certain:

  • Teachers and school employees
  • Healthcare professionals
  • Nursing and health-science students
  • Childcare providers
  • Caregivers and behavioral-health workers
  • Foster-care and adoption applicants
  • Professionals working with children, seniors, or vulnerable adults
  • Arizona real estate license applicants
  • Other licensed or regulated occupations


Important: Complete Your DPS Application First

You must complete your Arizona DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card application before your fingerprinting appointment.

After submitting the application through the Arizona DPS Public Services Portal, you will receive a reference number. Please bring that reference number to your appointment so your fingerprints can be connected to the correct application.

Your AZDPS application fee is separate from our fingerprinting fee. We do not collect or include DPS application fees in the price of fingerprinting.

ATF EFT Fingerprinting With Photo

We provide ATF EFT fingerprint files for eligible ATF and NFA electronic applications.

Your ATF fingerprinting appointment includes:

  • Electronic fingerprint capture
  • ATF-compatible EFT fingerprint file
  • Applicant photograph
  • EFT file provided on a USB drive for uploading with your application

ATF EFT fingerprinting with photo: $60

The customer is responsible for completing and submitting the appropriate ATF application. ATF application, tax, licensing, and submission fees are separate from our fingerprinting fee.


Fingerprinting Fees

  • Standard fingerprinting: $40
  • ATF EFT fingerprinting with photo and USB drive: $60
  • Mobile fingerprinting: $40 fingerprinting fee plus travel
  • Travel fees vary based on the appointment location
  • Government, agency, licensing, and application fees are separate

What to Bring to Your Appointment

Please bring:

  • A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID
  • Your completed application or agency instructions
  • Your DPS reference number, if applying for an Arizona DPS clearance card
  • Any ORI, OCA, employer, or agency codes provided to you
  • Any forms or fingerprint cards supplied by the requesting organization
  • Your preferred payment method

Your name and identifying information should match the information entered on your application.


Before Your Appointment

For the best possible fingerprints:

  • Hydrate and moisturize your hands the day before
  • Avoid applying heavy or greasy lotion immediately before your appointment
  • Keep your hands warm
  • Tell us about any cuts, injuries, or worn fingerprint ridges


Frequently Asked Questions

Do you complete Arizona DPS or ATF applications?

No. Customers must complete their own applications before the appointment. We provide fingerprinting services but do not select application types, determine eligibility, or provide legal advice.

Do I need a DPS reference number?

Yes. Arizona DPS applicants should complete their application first and bring the reference number provided by DPS. The reference number helps connect your fingerprints to your application.

Are application fees included?

No. Arizona DPS, ATF, employer, licensing-agency, and other government application fees are separate from our fingerprinting fees.

Do you receive my background-check results?

No. We do not receive, review, or make decisions concerning your background-check results. Contact the requesting agency, employer, Arizona DPS, or ATF for application status and results.

Is mobile fingerprinting available?

Yes. Mobile fingerprinting is available for individuals, employers, schools, healthcare facilities, and groups. Additional travel fees apply and are based on location.

Please be advised:

Effective September 12, 2026, an Arizona notary must obtain the signer’s fingerprint in the notary journal when notarizing:

  • A deed 
  • A quitclaim deed 
  • A deed of trust 
  • Any other document that affects real property 
  • A power of attorney 

The signer must place their right thumbprint in the journal. If the right thumb is unavailable, the notary may use:

  1. The left thumb, or 
  2. Any available finger 

The notary must indicate in the journal which finger was used.
